Bulova has been a pioneering presence since the late 19th century, when the United States of America was at its apex of prosperity.

Joseph Bulova, a man with goals to challenge without fear of risk and a sense of anti-age, immigrated to the United States from Bohemia (now the Czech Republic) and founded his own store in 1875. He was a great engineer and inventor who received patents for jewellery and bicycles, and his brilliant ideas and interests were also applied in the watch industry.
