Rado

In 1917, Fritz, Ernst and Werner Schlup decided to be watchmakers and by the end of World War 2, the factory was among the largest  watch producers. Its name was also associated with Swiss made quality because of which the brothers decided to launch their own brand – ” Rado”. The brothers named their brand as Rado, which means ‘wheel’ in Esperanto.

In 1962, they released the world’s first scratchproof watch, which was crafted from ultra-resistant hard metal. It was considered as an impressive technical innovation.

Since then it has become famous for innovative design and the use of revolutionary materials to create some of the world’s most famous and long-lasting wristwatches.

Today, It is a globally recognized Swiss watch brand.
